Six George II Chippendale Chairs
A fine set of six George II Chippendale design mahogany chairs.
The chairs have a carved and shaped top rail and a broad pierced centre splat.
The chairs have carved cabriole legs with claw and ball feet and a stuff over seat that has been re-webbed and covered in calico.
The underside of each chair has a label with "Mrs Walpole" and came out of Heckfield place and have passed down through the Walpole family by descent.
The chairs are in excellent condition (Circa 1740)

Depth 57cm (22.4 inches)
