Maker probably Rolason Brothers, Vyse Street, Birmingham.
It does have surface marks associated with normal use and two small dings. One on the lid and one at the right hand edge of the vacant cartouoche. Both are too small to show clearly on the photos.
The spring is in place and working well so the lid closes with a snap.
The engine turned design is still sharp.
Approximate dimensions 44mm x 42mm x 9mm, weight 18g.
