Silver Pair Cased Fusee Pocket Watch 1848


A Super Solid Silver Pair Cased Fusee pocket Watch
With Full Hallmarks for Birmingham 1848
Made by James Brown of Winchester Engraved on the movement
Watch working taking a full wind and with nice watch key
Both inner and outer cases are in excellent age condition and fit snug together
Both with matching Hallmarks
Early Victorian Fusee movement 1848 looks clean and working in all position
White enamel dial without any major damage with Black baton style numerals and gold coloured hands
Watch crystal glass with bulls eye centre and possible the original
Still in fine condition
Original top bow and with hallmarks
Comes with old watch repairs paper
"Beringer & Sons Helston" always nice to have these with the watch
Very good Quality silver cases good weight of silver
made by Williams Brooks or Brady London during this period
The side press button is missing but the case opens easily with thumb nail
Watch size outer case 56mm diameter x 25mm
Total watch weight 164 grams would estimate the case only to be C100grams
Lovely watch 177 years old and in this great age condition
