You’re bidding on a rare early 20th century Open face silver British pocket watch in a silver case. This watch is key wind and is in a very good working condition.
Dial: The white enamel dial has black handwritten Roman numerals and gilt hands. There is a slight hair crack on the dial between the 6 and 7.
Movement: The silver verge escapement movement is pierced and has a lovely engraved bridge cock. The movement has a regulator and has round cylinder shaped baluster pillars. All around the movement there are nice engravings. The watch is in working order, however we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique pocket watch. The movement is signed: " M. Samson London N° 2825".
Case: The silver open face pocket watch, hallmarked silver London 1910.
Signed: M.Samson – English made - Circa: 1910 – Diameter: 54mm – Weight: 140gr
