A Victorian/Edwardian silver cased pendant magnifying glass/loupe. The silver-framed circular magnifier on a hinged pivot within a silver cover - chased scrolling foliate decoration to both sides surrounding a vacant cartouche, all suspended from a bale – hallmarks to side of case for Birmingham 1901, Adie & Lovekin with subsidiary marks to the frame of the loupe. 38mm diameter (ex bale). Good optics - excellent condition.
I trade in small silver, jewellery and objets d'art. I sell primarily at antiques fairs and in cabinets in Christique Antique Centre in Dorking. I try to find unusual and interesting stock and like to keep turning it over, so I can buy more. Postage and packing are free within the UK - unless explicitly stated otherwise.
