Very Rare Circa 1910's Period Siemens Schuckert Ball Motor Design DC Ceiling Fan. This Fan Was Meticulously Refinished By The Iconic Fan Restorer Carlton Ward. Carlton Refinished This Example For A Dear Friend Who Just Released It From Their Collection. Finish Was Executed In A Rich Burgundy With Contrasting Gloss Black End Bells Trimmed In Gold Leaf. Brass Blade Irons Are Brightly Polished And An Excellent Compliment To The Glass Painted Aluminum Blades With Gold Leaf Pinstripes. Stunning Fan!! Motor Tag Indicated Being Designed For 220v DC, I Test Ran This Example On 120v DC And It Operates At A Perfect Medium. For Use In The United States, An Ideal Installation Would Include The Use Of A Wall Mounted Speed / Motor Control. A Bridge Rectifier Is Installed For Conversion To DC From AC.
