An impressive and very good quality Arts and Crafts sideboard and mirror in solid English oak, c 1890s. Retailed by HJ Knee of Trowbridge, supplied by Shapland and Petter from their workshops in Barnstaple. Made of solid oak, top section with large mirror and decorative frieze above, copper panel below. The cabinet has two drawers, cupboards below with stylised tulip carving to the doors, typical Shapland and Petter apron. With original retailers label and makers stamped number. The sideboard is in immaculate condition.
