Set of eight early 20th.c. bentwood Thonet type bistro dining chairs c.1900. Ebonised bentwood frames with a graceful curving backrest and crossed stretchers. The 17″ diameter circular seats have been been covered with a green faux leather with brass studs. Stamped on the underside for the makers Cambier Freres of Ath in Belgium, contemporaries of Thonet. Also stamped Brevet on the stretchers. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.

Dimensions: width 17″, depth 21″, height 35½”.
