A set of eight early 19th century square based port or spirit glasses.

The glasses have an ovoid shaped bowl that is facet cut at the bottom.

The short stem has a bladed knop and is square shaped to compliment the foot.

The bowls have what look to be the initials 'F W S' engraved on the side.

The glasses are in good condition with some nicks to the corners of the square bases which teds to happen on this style of glass. (Circa 1840)
