Set of 8 Regency Mahogany Dining Chairs
An attractive set of eight late Regency mahogany sabre leg dining chairs comprising two carver armchairs and six side chairs. Dating to c.1830 these have flame mahogany veneered curved bar backs and a carved horizontal splat. With continuous reeding to the front and top and on sabre legs with drop-in burgundy leather covered seats. All in solid condition, with old repairs and restorations including a replaced top rail and one shorter, one seat pad has a circular mark. Please ask for more photos.
Side chairs - 19 ¾in wide x 20in deep x 34 ½in high (50cm x 51cm x 87.5cm)
Armchairs - 23 ½in wide x 22 ½in deep x 33in high (59.5cm x 57cm x 84cm)
Side chair seat height - 19in (48cm)
Armchair seat height - 20 ½in (52cm)
