Antique fine quality set of 8 Georgian mahogany dining chairs C1760.
Solid with no loose joints. Lovely elegant design.
Recent upholstery in a heavy weight fabric.
Overall maximum dimensions:
Chair 51cmW x 54cmD x 93cmH (44 - 46cmH shaped seat when sat on)
Good antique condition with historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, repairs and alterations, as is normal with antique furniture of this age. Some historic repairs as one would expect, but all is good and strong now. Few historic extinct woodworm holes (under seats so not visible when in use) that have been treated for good measure. Two chairs are later identical copies, which were presumably hand made to complete the set.
