Set 6 Victorian walnut balloon back dining chairs
Antique set of 6 Victorian walnut balloon back dining chairs.
Date from C1870 and full of age charm and character. Very best colour and patina, never refinished.
Solid, medium weight chairs with no loose joints.
The upholstery is not new, but has no wear or major marks.
Overall maximum dimensions:
44cmW x 51cmD x 84cmH (43cmH seat when sat on).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique furniture of this age. Some historical extinct woodworm holes that we have treated for good measure. Historic structural repairs (as is usual and to be expected) and a small metal strengthening plate has been added (a very long time ago) to the back of one front leg (adds to the charm and authenticity of the chairs), all is good and strong.
