Set 6 Victorian walnut balloon back dining chairs
Antique set of 6 Victorian 19C carved walnut balloon back dining chairs.
A great rare find, with fantastic proportions and styling.
Lovely colour, age, patina and charm.
The chairs are solid with no loose joints.
The mushroom velour upholstery is not new, but has little wear and no major marks.
Overall maximum dimensions
46cmW x 54cmD x 85cmH (45cmH seat when sat on).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique furniture of this age. We have not inspected beneath the upholstery. There are some historical structural repairs, but these are all strong and good now. A few historic woodworm holes, believed extinct, but treated for good measure.
