A very good serpentine shaped burr walnut writing table in the Queen Anne style. Well made in solid walnut with attractive burr walnut veneers. The serpentine shaped top is fitted with a sumptuous green leather writing surface which is decorated with gilt tooling to the edges. There is an arrangement of one long central drawer flanked by 4 shorter drawers. All drawers are fitted with brass handles and are lockable (keys supplied). The whole table stands on elegant cabriole legs with shell carved detailing to the knees. The table is finished to the rear so it could be free standing within a room if desired. We have had it sympathetically repolished to a very high standard. It now has a great colour and patina and is ready to go straight into the home or office.
