Early 20th.c. walnut couch or daybed c.1910. Shapely solid walnut frame carved on both sides, bow fronted with a flat rear edge to go against a wall. Tall raised sleigh style ends with a deeply carved scroll detail. Wavy apron raised on four short legs at the front, three legs at the rear. Webbed base with a thick loose seat pad, bolster cushions and two flat cushions which can be used to make a more traditional couch when positioned against a wall. Upholstered in a soft dark pink velvet with brass studs and piped edges. Obvious wear to the finish on the frame, otherwise very good condition and serviceable covers. Disassembles for ease of delivery.
Dimensions: width 86″, depth 31″, height 38″.
