Circa 1810, Scottish mahogany inlaid sofa table in the Edinburgh style. The Spanish mahogany flaps with original colour and patina, and walnut inlay. Below the top are two mahogany lined drawers with original finely turned wooden knobs, all supported by two turned mahogany and ebonised columns over a platform base with 4 ebony inlaid cabriole legs terminating on unusual brass castors characteristic of some Scottish cabinet makers.
