Fine example of a Scottish drumhead domestic regulator antique clock by R Anderson & Co Glasgow, circa 1850.
The drumhead with painted cream face has subsidiary seconds and date dials, the tapering case in beautifully figured mahogany has cushion door and panelled base, standing on bun feet.
the eight day movement with dead beat escapement and maintaining power strikes the hour on a bell and has been fully serviced.
this super clock really is a fine example of a Scottish drumhead regulator in good condition.
