An Early 19th Century Satinwood Chiffonier C.1800
A beautifully made piece antique furniture made from solid and veneered satinwood of the choicest cuts of timber. Lovely small proportions. The top half is of a waterfall form with and elegant curved top. All the edges are unusually veneered in end grain tulipwood. The cabinet beneath has two drawers inlaid with tulipwood with original axe handles. Panelled doors with brass closing strip. Standing on turned legs with original castors.
The only repairs have been a few pieces of veneer to the front edges of shelves. Totally original in excellent order.
