Satinwood Kidney Shape Bijouterie or Display Table
Elegant and fine quality Edwardian Sheraton Revival satinwood bijouterie or display table of kidney shape form. The lift-up lid has a tulipwood cross band and mahogany line inlay, and opens to reveal a display compartment with faux moiré lined base. The table is raised on four square section tapering cabriole legs also with mahogany line inlay, united by shaped stretchers.

Condition and Details of Restoration
This table is in untouched original structural condition and is completely sound. The original polish has been refinished, by our own craftsmen, by hand in the traditional manner. There are a few old marks and scuffs to the polish as might be expected on an item of this age, but certainly nothing major or eye-catching. In our opinion the photographs are representative. The faux moiré lining to the base is a replacement.
