Sampson Mordan Silver and Enamel Vesta Case - 1887
A stunning example of a Sampson Mordan enamelled vesta case, depicting a young red-haired woman, dressed in black, fleeing from a masked ball.
Hallmarked for Sampson Mordan, London 1887.
Condition - Excellent. No damage to silver or enamel. Strong hinge which closes with a snap.
Hallmarks to lid and body. hallmark to lid is crisp and clear, makers mark to
body is a little rubbed, but the remaining marks are good.
Dimensions - Height 58mm, Width 31mm, Depth 9mm
