Revolving Oak Desk Chair c.1910 %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
Quality Edwardian era oak revolving desk chair c.1910. A particularly good example of the form by the American makers Ford Johnson & Co of Chicago. The backrest is a little taller that many we see, with an unusually broad top with lovely shaped and scroll carved detail, over straight slats. Curving arms on swept supports (so the chair can be brought up close to a desk) over a shaped seat. Revolves, reclines and is height adjustable on a threaded metal column and four footed base with the original castors. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
Dimensions: Width 26" Height 39" Depth 26".
