Leather Topped Writing Bureau - Fitted Interior - c1820

Formerly a square topped piano of the Regency period this writing desk bureau is a pleasing example and presented in good order throughout.

The desk is crafted in mahogany with dark Oxford green leather skiver to the writing surface.

The desk rides upon original elegantly turned legs with original castors.

The fall top opens to reveal a fitted interior with drawers and cubbies affording plenty of practicality. The piece is deep and therefore offers a large writing surface with useful space to accomodate papers and a laptop with ease.

Overall this piece of antique furniture is in good antique condition, is well constructed and very solid.
