Fine English Regency rosewood sofa table c.1820. Beautifully figured rosewood veneered and crossbanded top with two folding leaves supported on carved brackets. Over two oak lined drawers in the front edge with cockbeaded fronts and crisp turned knobs, all repeated as dummy drawer fronts on the rear. Superb hexagonal column supports with moulded bases joined with a turned stretcher and raised on turned and reeded buns with the original brass castors hidden below. Some wear to the polish on the top, otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
