Regency Rosewood Chamfer Top Bracket Clock
A good quality, very original rosewood cased striking Bracket antique clock dating to the early 19th Century. It has a gadrooned chamfer top, surmounted by a brass pineapple. The case has brass edged inset quadrant panels, and chamfered brass set corners, a wavey base moulding and adjustable brass ball feet. The sides have brass drop handles and Gothic tracery side frets lined with silk. The 8 inch diameter convex dial has a brass bezel and high dome convex glass, with moon hands. It has an 8 day twin fusee movement that strike the hours on a bell and has an hour pull repeat. The back plate has wheatsheaf engraving and a starburst engraved pendulum with an inverse regulator..
