Fine quality George III mahogany fold over games table c.1820. Stands flat against the wall as a console or side table or open the hinged rear legs and fold open the top to make a square card table for four people with a green baize playing surface. Well figured flame mahogany veneered top with shaped detail at the corners and crossbanded edges. Moulded apron at the front and sides, the corners shaped to match the top. Raised on slim turned and tapering legs front and rear. Original brass hinges. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
