A stunning and highly unusual Regency Mahogany bow fronted chest of drawers. This country house proportioned chest having an arrangement of 2 short and 3 long drawers, with Rosewood knob handles, original escutcheons and locks, the drawers with double cock-beading and in cross-banded in Rosewood to the rails. The top cross-banded in Rosewood with brass line inlay. Raised on heavy splay feet with a brass inlaid panel to the shaped skirt. Superb colour and luster throughout. This chest splits into 3 sections from original and has beautiful brass carrying handles to the sides. English, Circa 1820.
