Regency 12’’ fusee dial clock by Hall of Dover
Really super quality and in great condition is this 12’’ fusee dial wall antique clock by Hall or Dover, circa 1820 and with a dome glass and brass bezel, keeping very accurate time.
The dial has Roman Numerals and being a fusee, just the one winding point as this clock doesn’t chime, but does have a lovely mellow “tick tock.”
As you can see from the interior photos, the clock has been well looked after, cleaned and oiled so will provide many many years of good time keeping.
Measuring:
14 inches or 35.5 cm maximum diameter
12 inches or 30.5 cm dial diameter
6 inches or 15 cm depth Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!
Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
