An unused boxed Stratton Queen Convertible compact mirror in superb NOS (new old stock) condition. Such a fabulously beautiful powder compact! The whole item is like the day it was made. The brass gleams and as it was coated with a layer of transparent enamel during the manufacturing process it will never need to be cleaned,nor will it tarnish. The enamel lid is a joy to behold - such a gorgeous floral display with gilt accents. There isn't any loss of enamel or design. This powder compact comes with all the original features - presentation box, good quality black felt pouch, silk topped puff, velour edged sifter, inspection docket and instruction leaflet. It is suitable for all types of loose face powder as well as many types of compressed powder such as - Max Factor Creme Puff, Rimmel Stay Matte, Constance Carroll CCUK and Miss Beauty. The mirror is excellent and gives an accurate reflection. The powder well is lined with a protective waxed paper insert. The base of the powder mirror compact is decorated with shiny golden chevrons and signed 'Stratton MADE IN ENGLAND'. This vintage handbag mirror measures 3 1/2 " and weighs 98.2 grams.
