A delightful refillable compact case for loose powder. This 1960s Kigu 'Karette' is in super unused condition. It will not tarnish or need to be cleaned as it was lacquered by the maker. The inner lid is signed "Kigu". The mirror frame is inscribed "KARETTE". The original sifter and pouch are present. The mirror gives a good clear reflection. A push button is the distinguishing feature of the 'Karette' opens the powder well lid. All clasps and hinges work exactly as they should. Measures 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" and weighs 74.7 grams.
