A Fine Yew wood high windsor Chair with an Elm seat, most probably from the workshop of Benjamin Gilling who was a maker of distinctive quality chairs betwean the years of 1841-1851 in the town of Worksop, the back splat is typical of chairs made by this man, he has used good Yew in the making of this chair with bright contasting figure, the conditio0n is excellent with a great colour and patina.
