Rare Treen Snuff Box Mauchline Ware Manchester snuff box treen
This is a rare and special find - a lined snuff box, which appears to have the makers name and Manchester to the inside base, but it has worn so is difficult to decipher - measuring c. 2.1/4" inch x 1.5" inch, it is beautifully made, the hinges working well. The top depicts a woman which is somewhat risque, but I suspect she may be treading grapes. A lovely piece sure to find its way to an appreciative collector.
