A rare Thomas Willson Pembroke style table.
Thomas Willson ( 1799 - 1854 )was an esteemed British antique furniture maker and dealer at 68 Great Queen Street London and his furniture is in demand and fetches high auction prices.
This lovely constructed Pembroke style bedside/occasional table is in Mahogany and the drop down sides are supported by wonderfully crafted supports, the drop down front operates by turning the front catch and is fully working.
The table stands on four fluted legs on brass supported casters.
The maker's stamp "T.Willson 68 Great Queen Street" is stamped into the top inner edge of the drawer.
The tableis in very good condition, lacking two or three small screws in the casters, otherwise perfect for almost 200 years old.
