Here we have a wonderful and rare original scumble painted early Victorian linen press c1840. As you can see the wonderful paint has great colour and patina. There is a moulded pediment which comes off. There is a two door cupboard below with internal hangers and fielded panel doors. A hanging rail can be fitted if you require for no extra charge. It is worth noting that the construction of the top is by revealed dovetail joints. The separate base has a desirable configuration of two over two drawers with original turned wooden bun handles and hand cut dovetail joints. The whole sits on a moulded plinth base. A super period press in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 211 cm high 127 cm wide 56 cm deep.
