A lovely rare Stratton Piccadilly compact crafted by the premier maker. There were only two known years of availability for the Piccadilly - 1959 & 1960. Styled in the shape of a four leaf clover this is the only Stratton compact model with the lucky four leaf clover shape. The beautiful enamel has gilt accents. The compact comes with the original black felt pouch and sifter. The mirror gives an excellent clear reflection. All catches and hinges work perfectly. The base is decorated with the fine spiral. Measures 3" & weighs 94.4 grams.

The are no losses of the coloured enamel. However, the top coat of clear enamel near the thumb catch has a small area of loss which is unusual as this enamel is so durable. Please see image five. The biro is pointing at the area of clear enamel loss.
