A fully hallmarked sterling silver topped cut glass perfume bottle retailed by E Bonhomme. The silversmith being Prudent Quitte of Rue Notre-Dame-de-Nazareth 42, Paris. So rare to find a perfume bottle by this maker in the original case & in excellent condition. Even the original dropper is present & in very good condition too. The glass is cut to diamond shapes & this shape is engraved on the silver top too with contrasting panels of smooth silver. The inner lid & top are gilded to protect the silver from the perfume. The vermeil interior is a vibrant gold & has not faded. Everything works exactly as it should including the clasps & hinges on the case. The silver & cut glass is free from damage. The hallmarks are easy to see & not worn - see image five.
This silver topped perfume bottle measures 6.5 cm.
