A rather special Victorian plant stand or jardiniere in original condition, other than a rewaxing to add a little lustre to the polish. Although there are a number of Edwardian stands with the basket shape I do not recall seeing another like this in 40 years in the trade. This one is in sound condition and has a French cabriole leg. The top of the leg has the most attractive carved detail just under the basket. It is a really neat size and it is only showing one knock which is minor so the item overall is pretty impressive. We dont think you will find another and certainly in good original condition like his one. Looks really good in a conservatory.
