Queen Anne walnut side chair
A rare Queen Anne period walnut side chair with a "Japan" or "India" back.In fact it was an anglicised interpretation of a Chinese pattern. Veneered back splat of figured walnut with a cross banding.Drop-in seat.Cabriole front legs.
Circa 1710
A pair of similar chairs can be seen in the Geffrye museum in London.
39" high,22' deep at most,22" wide,18" floor to seat.
Various old repairs to be expected,but nothing to seriously detract.A solid useable chair with little joint movement. You may return a purchase within 14 days for a refund if you are not happy with it,but you will have to pay the full cost of return postage/carriage.The item must be returned undamaged.
