Queen Anne Indenture from Hertfordshire between John & Dorothy Crosse and John Elliott. The Indenture is a Lease for 1 month. John & Dorothy paid 5 Shillings to John Elliott for a rood (parcel of land)
Is Handwritten in Latin and Old English onto Handmade Paper and dated 15th January 1702. Has a nice Initial Letter and two good seals. Plus two Embossed Duty Stamps for VI pence each and a franked Paper Duty Stamp.
