A pair of Japanese silk embroidered panels, each showing a male and female exotic bird. The embroidery is beautiful with padded stumpwork to give an added dimension to the pictures. They are mounted in Victorian frames.

The condition is very good and the colours are excellent. The panels themselves each measure 37 cm x 48 cm. The outside measurements of the frames are 49 cm x 60 cm.
