A fine quality French antique carriage clock of 8 day duration, striking and repeating the hours and half hours on a gong. Original silvered platform escapement. The side panels depict two country scenes, one of a lady collecting water and one of a lady with a letter. The front panel is of a cottage by a lake, underneath the dial with Roman numerals.
