This is a fantastic large pencil study by Phyllis M. Wise after Sir Edwin Landseer. The drawing is beautifully executed by an accomplished artist. This drawing encapsulates 19th-century countryside England with the riding gloves and crop in the foreground. This beautiful pencil drawing with ebonised frame will sit comfortably in any country house.
