Here is an example of a superb pair of antique Cuban mahogany stand / dining dining chairs, circa 1830, constructed with a naval theme to commemorate the battle of Trafalgar in 1805. Both chairs feature stuff over seat with green draylon velvet material. The material is fixed in place with green braiding. The bar back features carved scrolls to each corner with vertical reeded backs. The seat frame features floral carved markings and frame is supported by turned front fluted legs. The backs of the legs are saber shaped which is a sign of good quality. The chairs are firm and would look good anywhere especially as they are comfortable and consume little space.

This item would look superb in a variety of rooms, especially the hallway, bedroom or dining room. This item would certainly grace any home or office and a great investment as they are an extremely functional. So don't miss out your chance to own a lovely piece of antique furniture.

Condition Report
These chairs are in excellent condition commensurate with their age. Some nominal old use marks to the leading edges but nothing significant considering the age of the item. Excellent colour patination to the Cuban mahogany. No breaks to the backs or legs. The upholstery is clean and in good condition showing no signs of damage. Free of wood worm, solid in joint and ready to use.

Delivery to any address in mainland England & Wales is £45. For delivery to Scotland & Ireland, please email for a quote. If you wish to avoid the delivery cost, you can collect the item in person. Delivery will be made by our own specialised antique furniture delivery service, or in some cases we will use a courier service for distant deliveries. UK Returns & Refunds
A 7 day “no quibble” return policy (from the date you receive the item) is available if you are not happy with this item. The buyer is required to cover the cost of return transit – the collection cost is the same as the delivery cost. You will be given a refund (excluding the delivery and collection cost) as long as the item is returned in the same condition. We will collect the item using our specialist Furniture Delivery Company to avoid any damage. We will not accept returns via a courier service due to experience of damaged items in transit. This refund policy only applies to deliveries to the UK.

For UK buyers, we will accept cash on collection or delivery cheque, credit card, BACS (free bank to bank transfer). Payment is requested within 5 days of the sale.

International Buyers
