Pair of Regency Antique Ebonised Open Arm Chairs.
A very attractive Pair of Regency Ebonised Open Arm Chairs.
They are made from mahogany which has then been Japanned / Laquered, with the details of the carved florettes to the leg headings and raised edges of the frame picked out in gold.
Despite being worn, the gold is very subtle and lifts the chairs elegance.
The “ blind “ rattan backs have no holes or damage. Beautifully upholstered in a smart check.
No breaks or restoration. Still highly usable.
