Very smart pair of Louis XV style giltwood side chairs c.1900. Shapely frames with carved detail to the cresting rail, apron and legs. Padded backrest and large sprung seat upholstered in a beautiful patterned velvet brocade fabric. Raised on white ceramic castors. Missing the lining fabric from the rear of the backrests, otherwise excellent condition with clean covers and only minor wear to the gilding.
