Gillows of Lancaster

A very good Pair of George IV period solid Rosewood Side Chairs stamped Gillows Lancaster on the top edges of the front seat rails, the dished top rail above a central bar with moulded detail, the drop in seats raised on turned front legs. The quality and weight of these are exceptional and what we have come to expect from the very best of Gillows pieces. The seat rails are Oak with 6 mm Rosewood facings, the legs and backs are all solid Rosewood.
