Superb pair of late 19th.c. French mahogany bookcases c.1880. Long doors with glazed tops over blind panels. Fitted inside with four adjustable shelves (depth 11″). Elegant design with particularly well figured flame mahogany veneers to the doors and side panels. Flared and moulded cornice and fluted faux columns with brass inlay to the corners front and rear. Extensive brass mouldings. Retaining the original turned and tapering mahogany legs with quality brass mounts to the feet. Oak groundwork and back panels. Excellent colour and condition. Original locks and keys. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Note these bookcases can be disassembled into flat sections for delivery.
