Pair of French mahogany armchairs. 19th century.
Description: Pair of French Napoleon III solid mahogany armchairs.
It has a double-cross backrest also nicknamed with elegantly sculpted ears and ending with a finely chiseled gilt bronze coping.
The legs are truncated cone shaped and terminated with a bronze sock.
The taste and proportions are reminiscent of the great French culture of the second half of the nineteenth century.
Conditions: Restored by our master craftsmen with traditional shellac method and handmade alcohol.
Provenance: France, 19th century.
Measures: 70x60 H108cm.
