Pair Of Carved Wooden Gilt Salon Armchairs 1810-40
Beautiful pair of matching gilt salon or drawing room armchairs,each nicely carved with good detail,having sprung seats and still in an early material.
Condition is very good commensurate with age and are in acceptable state to place straight into an antique setting or room looking impressive.
They are both had made to a good standard being very heavy and solid with a rich gilt finish.
There is a tiny area of material on one seat where the threads have been caught slightly,but still looks reasonable and not too noticeable(request close-up image).
Hard to find such a good well balanced pair of quality built chairs,which will gain value over the coming years and still be in service 100 years from now if looked after as before.
The material is a silk wine coloured material with an
embroidered garland florrel design throughout.
a bonus to still have an earlier material intact.
Seats are fairly firmish and require no immediate work,as the value would be effected if stripped,
which they do not really need.

Returns are accepted within 14 days of receipt if the item is found to have been misdescribed and the purchaser may be liable for the return costs subject to reasons for return.
Returns authorisation should be requested by sending an e-mail before posting.
Once we receive the item in good order as supplied not withstanding notified transit damage, we will return payment using the same payment method.
