Pair of 19thC Welsh Sea Captain’s Chests
A beautiful and very rare pair of Welsh pine Sea Captain’s Chests in original painted finish. In wonderful original condition with superb presence they are most practical and decorative.
With full provenance from a former sea captain’s house in Llanon Ceredigion.
Having the original paint is a very rare and desirable feature as are the carved initials of the owner for whom they were made, coupled with the provenance they are extremely special items indeed.
Length 91cm
Height of larger chest 40cm. Depth of larger chest 47cm
Height of smaller chest 36cm. Depth of smaller chest 40cm
