Pair Of 19th Century Oak And Leather Armchairs
Great pair of generous size 19th century oak and leather armchairs or library chairs in lovely condition.
Being a good size and the angle of the chair backs, these are certainly a pair of chairs that you could sit in all evening in comfort.
Very well turned oak spindles and have cleaned and beeswax polished beautifully, also the leather has been fed and buffed too so it has a wonderful glow.
The condition is good to both armchairs, solid frames and the leather has aged beautifully with some lovely age marks, but no tears.
Measuring:
40 inches or 102 cm high
26 inches or 66 cm wide
31 inches or 79 cm deep
18 inches or 46 cm seat height Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!
Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
